current scores & standings

The maximum score to be gained for any particular circuit is 20 points. This is achieved by setting the fastest time. The minimum score to be gained for any circuit is, unsurprisingly, 0 points. This is awarded to the 107% time, or any time slower than this. Times within these two extremes are awarded points according to how close they are to the fastest time. In other words, a fastest lap of, say, 100 seconds would receive the maximum 20 points. The 107% time, in this case, would be 107 seconds, and would receive 0 points, as would any time slower than this. Times in between would be rated accordingly.

Whenever the fastest lap of any particular circuit is improved, previous scores will be erased and new scores calculated using the system explained above.

The current standings are as follows. Positions are based on the score and, when equal scores exist, on a ratio calculated as average position divided by the number of tracks that times were set on (quite unlikely). Notice that you always get a point for having times, no matter what they score.
